(Fixed Proving Ring type)
CONSLOIDATION tests are conducted to obtain Soil data which are essentially required for preducting the rate and amount of settlement of structures . It comprises of :-
(a) Loading frame cap. 20 kg./cm with loading joke and lever arm (ratio 1:10) complete with counter balancing arrangement
(b) Fixed ring consolidation cell 60 mm dia x 20 mm thick complete with two porous stone , pressure pad and cutting ring.
(c) Water reservior with tubing and connection.
(d) Dial gauge 0.002 mm x 12 mm travel.
(e) Set of weights to give a stress intensify of 10 kg/ cm2 5 X 0.1 KG/CM 2, 6 X 0.5 KG./CM2 AND 5 X 1 KG./CM2
(f) Complete as above but without Dial Gauge

Consisting of three unit mounted on a single frame.
